Focusing on business results
When looking for a development program to
address critical business skills a ‘one size fits all’ approach
rarely delivers the full benefits. Most companies are looking

LAMP (Leading
and Maximising Performance) was delivered throughout
2005 and was designed to meet the needs of a national professional
services company. The LAMP program consisted of five modules
and included a customised on-line 360-degree feedback component
for the company’s leadership team. The LAMP modules included:
Leading by
example: behaving and making decisions in ways
that are consistent with the company’s values and Code
of Conduct.
Navigating
change: the skills needed to communicate a future
business objective, how to plan for achieving that objective
and how to manage the reaction of team members while working
towards that objective.
Managing priorities: the skills and process needed to identify,
plan and manage daily work loads.
Building lasting
relationships: the ability to effectively
understand and manage one’s own, and others’ emotions
in order to maintain constructive relationships both internal
and external to the company.
Uncovering
new opportunities: identifying potential or current
client opportunities by developing a marketing focus, researching
client opportunities and managing target accounts.
