Influential Leadership – Public Program

The Influential Leadership program is a public workshop exclusively for senior executives who know that the success of their leadership rests upon the real world outcomes in their ability to influence, enable change and make quality decisions.

Every person and organisation is unique. That is why generalisations and theories, however insightful they may be, can only go so far. They cannot take into account the unique circumstances, personalities and politics that prevail in any organisation. The Influential Leadership program offers a pragmatic, empirical approach to understanding how best to wield one’s influence as a leader to achieve immediate practical ends. Concepts offered are applied directly to real-world issues supplied by participants, and valuable outcomes are often realised on the spot.

This program combines recent findings on the nature and importance of leadership in great companies, with the emerging field of Tactical Analysis. Tactical Analysis is a powerful analytical methodology that can be used to significantly change and influence almost any situation.

Program Benefits

Participants will learn how to:

  • identify what are the key things that need to be achieved in the real world;
  • reveal and challenge unhelpful and at times dangerous assumptions;
  • manage highly complex and often conflicting situations;
  • get individuals to significantly change their perspective;
  • effectively influence the informal rules of the organisation;
  • identify solutions to what appear to be intractable problems; and
  • resolve major organisational blockers with minimal downside.

Program Structure

The program is an intensive, highly interactive, small group workshop.  Attendance is restricted to enable high levels of one-on-one coaching. Participants are expected to work on an actual issue or leadership challenge that has significant consequences for their business. An individual follow-up session is offered to review how participants have influenced the issue they brought to the workshop as well as subsequent issues they may have encountered since.

Duration and Investment

Monday 10 December to Wednesday 12 December 2007

Timings: 9.00am - 5.00pm each day

Note: this workshop will be limited to nine participants only and therefore it may be possible to negotiate suitable dates for those unable to attend on these specific days.

Investment: $4,400.00 (includes GST, three day workshop plus 2 hour individual follow-up, lunches and all materials)
