Leading with Emotional Intelligence

The Leading with Emotional Intelligence program provides an introduction to the impact of Emotional Intelligence on leadership effectiveness.

The one or two-day versions of the program provide a practical and interactive approach to understanding emotions in the workplace and how to apply this knowledge when leading and managing workgroups.  

The two-day version places a greater emphasis on capability development through more structured skill building activities, feedback and self-reflection.  The self-reflection component is enhanced through the use of a personalised Emotional Intelligence self-report completed pre-program.

At the completion of the Leading with Emotional Intelligence program participants will:
  • Understand how emotions impact performance
  • Relate Emotional Intelligence to leadership effectiveness
  • Understand how to interpret the emotions of others
  • Increase their level of emotional self-awareness
  • Better manage their emotions
  • Utilise emotional resilience building strategies
  • Develop enhanced interpersonal influencing skills
