The one or two-day versions of the program provide a practical and interactive approach to workplace coaching and how to apply this knowledge when coaching staff at various levels.
The two-day version places a greater emphasis on capability development through more structured skill building activities, feedback and self-reflection. The self-reflection component is enhanced through the use of a personalised leadership capability self-report completed pre-program. The two-day program also adopts an experiential approach to learning through the use of an evolving case-study scenario which can be customised to meet specific situations.
At the completion of the Coaching Conversations program participants will be able to:
- Understand the difference between mentoring, coaching and performance management
- Understand the relationship between coaching, performance and workplace outcomes
- Apply a practical framework and process to guide workplace coaching
- Apply a core set of competencies involved in workplace coaching
- Evaluate the effectiveness of workplace coaching
